Nandamuri Balakrishna, a Tollywood legend, is celebrating 50 years in the film industry. To commemorate this milestone, the Telugu film industry is gearing up for a grand celebration on September 1. A curtain raiser event was held at FNCC, where Nandamuri Ramakrishna and Nandamuri Mohanakrishna launched the poster for the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Industry stalwarts, including producers Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, and Kaikala Nageswara Rao, praised Balakrishna’s contributions to cinema and politics. Director Kodandarami Reddy, who has worked with Balakrishna on 13 films, hailed him as a talented actor who respects directors and producers.
Actor Madalaravi and Shivbalaji, treasurer of the Movie Artist Association, expressed their pride in Balakrishna’s achievements and encouraged everyone to participate in the celebrations. Other industry professionals, including Damodar Prasad, Bharat Bhushan, C Kalyan, and YVS Chowdhary, shared their admiration for Balakrishna’s dedication and legacy.
